Bailing Out a Friend

The plaintiff says the defendant bailed him out of jail, and he later reimbursed her in full during a restaurant meetup. After the charges were dismissed, the bail money was refunded to the defendant — but she refused to return it to him. He is suing for the amount he’s owed.
