Woman Fell for Her Grandfather’s Doctor—He Didn’t Even Exist

This is a true story about Abbie Draper, whose relationship with a supposed doctor named David Graham began while her grandfather was recovering from a serious stroke. David seemed credible because he knew private details about her grandfather’s care at Crosshouse Hospital and claimed to work on the medical team. But when other women revealed they were also involved with him, Abbie began investigating. The charity events David promoted did not exist, the hospital could not verify him, and the trail eventually led to Adele Rennie—a real hospital worker Abbie had seen beside her grandfather’s bed. Rennie had created multiple male identities, used voice-changing technology, sent gifts, manipulated women emotionally, and moved the deception from online messages into their real lives. Abbie’s investigation helped expose a disturbing pattern of catfishing, stalking, identity deception, and harassment. #AbbieDraper #AdeleRennie #DavidGraham #CrosshouseHospital #Catfishing -------------------------------------- Source & Editorial Note: We are not the investigators, journalists, or organizations that originally investigated this case.
