Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba | Golden Chariot Procession | Sep 22 1997

It was in Suka Nadi that the great Sukamuni prophesied that the Kali Yuga Avatar would ride on the golden chariot, and that all those who witnessed this grand event would be free from rebirth. During the Sathya Sai Padhuka Mahotsavam on September 21 1997, that prediction came true when the Lord of Lords, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, ascended on the Aditya Suvarna Ratha, the golden chariot, to the joy of the hundreds of thousands of devotees assembled. The procession started from the Poornachandra Auditorium and ended in the Sai Kulwant Hall to the cheers and ecstasy of the devotees gathered. This video shows glimpses of that momentous day, a day which is written in golden letters in human history. The procession is led by pundits chanting Vedic hymns and students of the institute singing bhajans while select devotees pull the chariot. Truly a sight for the gods!
