Smooth Criminal - Charles Deenen | C64 SID in stereo

Smooth Criminal - Charles Deenen's Commodore 64 cover, four and a half minutes on three voices. Music: Charles Deenen (Maniacs of Noise) Original song: Michael Jackson, from the album Bad (1987) On screen: the C64 tribute picture to Michael Jackson, 1958-2009. Audio: the original SID played by JSIDPlay2, each of the chip's three voices rendered on its own and panned into a stereo field. Checked against the plain one-pass render: the balance of the tune is unchanged. Picture: a software reimplementation of the SIDquake spectrometer, driven by the tune's own baked FFT data at PAL 50.125 fps.
