2026 Labour Day Weekend (3rd to 5th October)

A very busy weekend with running on all three days of the weekend. On the 3rd, it was normal free for all running. On the 4th, we had an operations day - we switch the layout using switch lists produced by JMRI Ops Pro. On the 5th, we had a fast train day - members who have high speed trains could run them around the layout at excessive speeds. The 3rd was a busy day, as we had a good number of members running trains. No high speed trains, but plenty of others running. The 4th was a relatively quiet day but still plenty of action. Apart from the local switching trains, we had a couple of passenger trains running to ensure that the locals were off the main line when the passenger trains run through. The 5th was a real fun day. A wide variety of fast trains running, most appearing a little blurred due to the speed they were running at. There were also a couple of freights, although we had said that they were not allowed, but they did not impact on the fast train running.
