Lens Test : Minolta MC Rokkor 135mm f2.8

Lens Test : Minolta MC Rokkor 135mm f2.8 Scored this lens for the bargain price of $5 AUD. Didn't know anything about it when I bought it, but it just felt solid, glass looked clean and I didn't have anything in my lens box that can do 135mm at f2.8. I bought an MC/MD to EOS adaptor with glass ( for infinity focus ) for $28 AUD on ebay. I have read a lot of negative comments about the adaptors, saying that the adaptor glass quality affects the image quality and really adapting old lens is a bit of a waste of time. I couldn't disagree more - I am really happy to have this lens in my case for the cost of $33 AUD, and am excited about the prospect of more adaptors coming in the post for some of the other old lens I picked up the other day. So these are my test video shots. I shot on my EOS 60D and edited in FCPX. No colour correction, just added a tiny bit of sharpness. I've also taken some test photos which I'm really happy with. Overall I would totally recommend this lens - I've seen it on ebay selling for between $80 to $180, and I think certainly under $100 is good value. I can't wait to use it on my next job where it's suitable!
