Diablo PS1 part 2 of 2 Okay, I had enough

My first impressions of this game, while it may be considered a classic and was perhaps a legend in its time, there are much better hack 'n slash dungeon crawlers than this. Poor controls, too dark to see without straining my eyes among some other stuff that don't quite work for me. So I cleared most of the 2nd floor, and then I open a door with some stronger, bigger enemy and can't lose him nor even be able to gain enough distance to be able to use my bow or even magic. I tried to close a door, even thought I could hide behind the door, but wasn't even sure yet if I could, should have tested that out first on other doors. Anyway, game over. Yeah, if I cared enough I could have reloaded and tried again, but I had enough, I get the gist of the game. This one isn't fun, nor even interesting.
