The RowSourceType property of a combo box or list box determines how Microsoft Access will get the data to show for the list of choices. Did you know that, instead of picking Table/Query, Value List, or Field List, you can actually put a custom callback function name here?!? I'll show you how to do that :) First, however, we review the standard ways that list properties are set for a combo box or list box, and what the difference is between the two types of controls. The example for this tutorial is a list box that shows day numbers and names that are dependent on the language setup in Windows. We use the CalendarMaker, which is a free tool you can download for Microsoft Access here: http://msaccessgurus.com/tool/Calenda... The callback function code is here: http://msaccessgurus.com/VBA/Code/ctl... Video for CalendarMaker here:    • AUG: CalendarMaker, by Crystal Long -  Acc...   Another example using a custom callback function for the RowSourceType is in Wayne Phillips' brilliant File Property Viewer, also a free download, from EverythingAccess.com: http://www.everythingaccess.com/tutor...
