The Road Out of Darkness | Freedom Song Alternative Rock | Link NightWolf

*Before the NightWolf Clan. Before the beast. Before the darkness he would one day embrace.* There was a young man riding into the unknown, with nothing but a horse named Nyx and the freedom he had fought to claim. *The Road Out of Darkness* is a dark melodic alternative rock song telling the story of Link NightWolf's escape from Malrec, the being who created him from the darkness extracted from the Warden. Created to serve another's purpose, Link had spent his early existence under someone else's control. His life had never truly belonged to him. Until he left. For the first time, there were no orders to follow. No master deciding where he should go or what he should become. No destiny he was obligated to fulfill. Just an unfamiliar road stretching ahead of him. With Nyx carrying him through the night, Link discovered that freedom didn't necessarily mean knowing where you belonged. Sometimes it meant having nowhere to go, no one waiting, and still being able to choose your own direction. **"I had nothing waiting for me But at least the road was mine."** This song captures Link at the very beginning of his journey, long before the black hair, piercings, claws, and gothic appearance that would eventually become part of his identity. A younger Link, with brown hair and green eyes, unaware of the love, heartbreak, power, and darkness waiting in his future. And as night fell, his journey brought him to an unfamiliar forest, an old graveyard, and a warm light shining through the trees. *The Mystic Tavern.* He thought he had found somewhere safe to spend the night. He had no idea that stepping through those doors would change the course of his life forever. The Road Out of Darkness is part of **The NightWolf Chronicles**, the original gothic fantasy story of Link NightWolf, a character whose life has developed through more than twenty years of roleplay and storytelling. 📖 *The NightWolf Chronicles: The Jagged Path* is available on Amazon. 🌐 *Official Website:* https://sites.google.com/view/linknig... --- *Credits* Original Character, Story & Lyrics: Link NightWolf Music Production: AI-assisted tools Lyric Video & Editing: CapCut Pro Link NightWolf is an original character whose story has developed through roleplay and writing since 2005.
