Funeral Procession for (Retired) Logansport Police Department Officer Dixson

Terry Dixson, 71, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. After 3-years of declining health. Terry began his journey in law enforcement as a reserve deputy with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department in 1979. Terry joined the Logansport Police Department in 1983. During his 25 years of service to the community, he served on the SWAT/Tactical team and promoted to every rank. He retired as Lieutenant from LPD in 2008. After retiring, he continued serving the community working at the Indiana Department of Correction, as a jailer for the Cass County Jail, and later worked security at the Cass County Courthouse.
