Two AI agents play Factorio: Space Age from a fresh map to the first rocket launch, compressed into a 4-minute 4K timelapse. The captions point out what they got wrong. This is an unassisted run. No ready-made designs, blueprints, build orders or research orders. The bots only know how the game works, about what the Factorio wiki explains, and they decide everything themselves: what to build, where, how many, and when. How it works: • Planner: gpt-6.1-sol (medium reasoning). It designs every layout, picks research and sends build orders. • Pilot: gpt-6-luna (low reasoning, Fast mode). It controls the single character and handles failures on the spot. • One physical character with no teleporting and no free items. Everything happens through text-only tools; the bots see no images. • The mod does the chores (walking, fetching, refuelling), never the decisions. Result: first rocket at 9:46:31 in-game time, with 161 machines. Tokens used: planner 134M, pilot 428M (99% cached).
