Do Male VTubers Really Have to Do THIS?

Do male VTubers have to fit one specific mold to succeed? As a new male VTuber, I have some thoughts. I’m reacting to Depressed Nousagi’s “The Absolute State of Male VTubing” and talking about model costs, collab drama, audience expectations, and the pressure to build your content around a particular character. Some of his points make sense. Others? I’ve got pushback. I want to make entertaining content with a virtual avatar, and I think there’s room for more than one way to do that.
