Fast Driver + Floored | Here’s Stagecoach South East’s 19652 on Route 99 from Eastbourne to Hastings

Although this vehicle is quite underpowered, this might be one of my favourite journeys I’ve recorded. The route features a prolonged 60mph section, with plenty of opportunities to put your foot down (which this driver sure did!) whilst hugging the coast, with decent views along the way. Annoyingly, this bus features a pretty loud rattle when the left hand set of seats are unoccupied (as seen later in the video). The route is also pretty overtimed (with it easily being doable in less than an hour). The three times I’ve road this route, drivers were consistently held back to regulate, and I hope Stagecoach at some point reviews the timetable.
