3 Random Vinyl Records, 2 Incredible Beats! | Marques Murrey

Marques Murrey stepped into the LOOK Underground Producer Challenge and gave us not one, but TWO incredible sample flips! 🔥💿 Known for his soulful production, incredible sample chops, and signature boom-bap and lo-fi sound, Marques Murrey (@marquesmurrey) has built a reputation for breathing new life into classic records. From flipping the sounds of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder to exploring the music of Al Green, Ahmad Jamal, and Arthur Verocai, Marques has developed a unique approach to sampling that blends musicality, creativity, and pure hip-hop culture. But this time, he didn't get to choose his samples the usual way. 👀 🎧 THE LOOK UNDERGROUND PRODUCER CHALLENGE: The rules are simple: 🎭 Put on the blindfold. 💿 Randomly select 3 vinyl records. 🎹 Use the records to create something completely original. 🔥 Let the creativity speak for itself! Marques took on the challenge and decided to flip TWO of the records! Watch as he digs into unfamiliar sounds, finds the right samples, and transforms vinyl into fresh beats. No preselected samples. No knowing what's coming. Just creativity, instincts, and production skills put to the test. This is what LOOK Underground is all about — celebrating the producers behind the music, showcasing their creative processes, and keeping the art of sampling alive. 💬 WE NEED YOUR VOTE!
