Don’t throw away those old light bulbs! 🎃 In this DIY Halloween craft, I’m turning a simple burnt-out light bulb and leftover materials into a cute and charming Halloween gnome decoration.
For this easy DIY project, I used a recycled light bulb, fine orange yarn, orange scrap fabric, green felt, cream-colored fabric, leftover yarn for the braided hair, a few buttons, wood glue, and hot glue. I also made a tiny fabric pumpkin to decorate the gnome’s hat. ♻️🧡
This is a fun and creative way to upcycle old light bulbs and fabric scraps that you may already have at home. Instead of throwing away unwanted materials, you can turn them into a unique handmade Halloween decoration for your home.
This DIY Halloween gnome is perfect for decorating a shelf, table, mantel, kitchen, craft corner, or cozy autumn display. It’s also a simple recycled craft idea for anyone who loves handmade home decor, budget-friendly DIY projects, and creative upcycling.
✨ In this video, you’ll see how I:

• Use leftover fabric scraps for DIY Halloween decor
• Make a cute pumpkin-inspired gnome
• Create a felt hat and fabric nose
• Make braided yarn hair
