In other news, the carmaker revealed the full variant-wise prices of the XEV 9e. The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced between Rs 21.9 lakh and Rs 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Please note that the cost of the home charger is not included in the ex-showroom price. Mahindra is offering the XEV 9e in three broad variants: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. A new Pack Three Select variant has been added in the lineup that slots between the Pack Two and Pack Three variants. The Mahindra XEV 9e is offered in 8 colour options: Deep Forest, Stealth Black, Nebula Blue, Tango Red, Everest White, Everest White Satin, Desert Myst Satin, and Desert Myst. We personally like Nebula Blue for the XEV 9e as this colour is not too bold but stands out on the roads. The features included with the XEV 9e include integrated three 12.3-inch displays (digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen, and a passenger-side display), multi-zone auto AC, and a 1400 W 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Other features include a wireless charger, ventilated and powered front seats and an augmented reality-based heads-up display. The Mahindra XEV 9e is offered in a 5-seater layout. The Mahindra XEV 9e has a ground clearance of 207 mm. Mahindra is offering the XEV 9e with two battery pack options: a 59 kWh pack and a 79 kWh. The motor with the 59 kWh produces 231 PS and 380 Nm torque, and the motor with the larger 79 kWh pack produces 286 PS and 380 Nm. Both these setups are offered as rear-wheel drive. The XEV 9e offers a MIDC-claimed range of 656 km. The batteries support fast charging, allowing 20-80 percent in 20 minutes. For safety, the XEV 9e comes with 7 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP) and level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) tech such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning. The Mahindra XEV9e has achieved a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The Mahindra XEV 9e will rival the Tata Harrier EV and Tata Safari EV.
