Step into the sound of the 80s with Echoes of the 80s, an epic and melodic guitar backing track in the key of E at 90 BPM. Built around E, A, B, C♯ minor/C♯m7 and B minor colors, this track gives you plenty of room to create soaring melodies, expressive bends, melodic solos and atmospheric rhythm parts. The steady 90 BPM groove makes it great for practicing phrasing, improvisation and melodic lead guitar without feeling rushed. 🎸 Key: E 🥁 Tempo: 90 BPM 🎶 Style: 80s Rock / Melodic Rock / Epic Rock 🎹 Chord colors: E • A • B • C♯m • C♯m7 • Bm 🔥 PRO TIPS 🎸 E Major Pentatonic — A great starting point for a bright, melodic 80s sound. 🎸 E Major Scale — Excellent for creating bigger melodic phrases over the E-major sections. 🎸 C♯ Minor Pentatonic — Since C♯ minor is the relative minor of E major, this can add a more emotional and dramatic flavor. ⚠️ Watch the B minor sections. Because B minor introduces notes outside a straight E-major sound, listen to the chord movement and adjust your phrasing rather than relying on one scale shape over the entire track. 💡 Try this: Start with simple melodic phrases and leave space between them. Then gradually build into longer lines, bends and sustained notes as the track develops. Think melody first—speed second.
