Ever tried to finish just ONE thing — start to end, uninterrupted — as a mom? I did too. This video is proof that it almost never happens the way we plan it, and honestly, that's okay. I sat down to paint a simple beach sunrise. Golden sky, soft sand, a rocky shoreline catching the first light — nothing complicated, nothing that should've taken more than an hour or two. But between a baby who woke up needing me, guests showing up unannounced, a power cut right as I was getting into flow, and my laptop dying at 1% at the worst possible moment, this "simple" painting turned into a four-day journey. If you're a mom — especially a toddler mom — you already know this rhythm. You don't get long, uninterrupted stretches of time anymore. You get five minutes here, fifteen minutes there, squeezed between feedings, naps that end too soon, and a hundred small emergencies that only a toddler can create. This video isn't a tutorial. It's not about painting perfectly in one go. It's about showing up for something that's yours — even in fragments — and still finishing it. What you'll see in this video: The full digital painting process from blank canvas to finished piece, shown in real screen-capture footage with the stylus and hand visible as the painting comes together. There's no talking, no tutorial steps, no voiceover walking you through techniques — just soft background music and the gentle, satisfying sound of the stylus working across the screen. It's meant to be calm, ASMR-style content you can put on in the background while you fold laundry, wind down after bedtime, or steal five quiet minutes for yourself. The painting itself is a beach sunrise scene — warm golden-orange sky blending into soft pink near the horizon, gentle waves rolling onto textured sand, and a rocky outline anchoring the shoreline. It's peaceful, warm, and the kind of scene that makes you want to breathe a little slower just watching it come together. Why I made this video: I'm Harini — a former art teacher who lost my teaching job during COVID, had no materials, couldn't step outside, and had to rebuild from scratch. I taught myself digital painting using nothing but a basic smartphone, no fancy tablets or gadgets. What started as a way to cope became something I genuinely love, and now I share that process here — one painting, one story, one interruption at a time. If you're a mom trying to hold onto a piece of yourself between diaper changes and daycare pickups, or if you just need ten minutes of something slow and beautiful in your feed, I made this for you. You don't need hours of free time to create something. You just need to keep coming back to it, even if it takes four tries and four days.
