FAST MODERNIZED 1925 Otis Traction Elevators At The Carlson Building In Evanston, IL

(04/02/2026) These are the insanely fast Otis elevators at the Carlson Building in Evanston. These used to be manually controlled and were modernized a few times over the years. The last mod brought these weird Centrel fixtures that are satisfying to press. They look like Adams and Dewhurst combined. These elevators go around 700 FPM, I have a feeling they slowed these down.
