Muskan Sahil Death Sentence: मुस्कान ने दी बेटियों की दुहाई,अब नहीं होगी फांसी की सजा? | Meerut Murder Case मेरठ के सौरभ राजपूत हत्याकांड में 14 अक्टूबर को जिला अदालत ने मुस्कान और साहिल को हत्या का दोषी मानते हुए मृत्युदंड की सजा सुनाई। सुनवाई के दौरान दोनों वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए अदालत से जुड़े थे। मुस्कान ने अपनी दो छोटी बेटियों का हवाला देते हुए सजा पर विचार करने की अपील की, जबकि साहिल खामोश रहा। दोनों पक्षों के वकीलों के बीच करीब सवा घंटे तक बहस हुई। अदालत ने भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 103(1) और 3(5) के तहत दोनों पर 50-50 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया। मृत्युदंड उच्च न्यायालय की पुष्टि के अधीन है। On October 14, a district court in Meerut sentenced Muskan and Sahil to death after convicting them of murdering Saurabh Rajput. Both appeared before the court through video conferencing from jail. During the sentencing hearing, Muskan appealed for consideration of her two young daughters, while Sahil remained silent. Lawyers representing both sides argued for approximately 75 minutes before the court reserved time to deliver its verdict. The court also imposed a fine of ₹50,000 on each convict for the murder and awarded seven years of rigorous imprisonment, along with additional fines, for destroying evidence. The death sentences remain subject to confirmation by the High Court.
