Created using a minimalist hardware setup, this long-form drone piece combines heavy textural depths, sweeping granular clouds, and shifting analog textures to evoke a sense of absolute solitude. Perfect for focus, deep writing, mediation or sleep. The Hardware Setup: Arturia Mini Freak: Serving as the core melodic and drone engine. Patches utilize custom algorithmic and wavetable engines modulated by custom LFOs to create unpredictable, evolving textures. Korg NTS-1: Used as a dedicated end-of-chain stereo processor. Running custom third-party granular and deep shimmer reverb algorithms to stretch the sound into infinity. Roland SP-404mkII: Handling the dark field recordings, vinyl dust emulation, and low-end sub bass loops. The vinyl simulator and lo-fi multi-FX are pushed hard for analog grit.
