WHAT TYPE OF SOIL IS YOUR HEART? | The Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13)

Why do some people grow dynamically in their faith while others fall away or get choked out by life? In Matthew 13:1-23, Jesus tells the famous Parable of the Sower to reveal four distinct conditions of the human heart: The Path: No understanding; the word is snatched away immediately. Rocky Soil: No deep roots; faith dies as soon as persecution or trouble arises. Thorny Soil: Choked out by worldly worries and the deceitfulness of wealth. Good Soil: Hears, understands, and produces a massive spiritual harvest.
