Along the way: a tough guy named Tubby Wilson, a Stephen Foster song parody, and the famous "Si, Sy, Sue" routine with Mel Blanc — captured here in its first known full-length version, from September 24th, 1950. Mel Blanc's character, "Sy, the Little Mexican," answers every question with a single deadpan word — a bit so beloved that Jack Benny himself reportedly struggled to keep a straight face performing it.
