However, due to the available space at the site, construction was started at around 40×100 feet, with a request to extend its length so that the overall covered area remains closer to the originally approved capacity. The construction work has now formally started in the presence of the Gram Panchayat, Gaushala committee and local residents. Material for the project was brought to the site and the foundation/construction process was initiated after the ceremonial start. Gaushala representatives explained that without a proper storage structure, a significant quantity of dry fodder could deteriorate during rainfall. Once completed, the new godown will allow fodder to be stored in a safer and more organized manner, helping ensure a reliable food supply for the cattle. The committee had also raised the need for a fodder-cutting machine, and the report states that this requirement was also accepted along with the storage facility. The main work shown in this report, however, is the start of the fodder godown construction.
