In Pokemon Verklempt Emerald, the Ability Klutz prevents your Held Item from activating its usual effects, and when contact is made with a target, no matter who initiated the contact, your Held Item is given to the target. If the target had any held item already held, and lacks the ability Sticky Hold, that held item is overwritten with the Klutz's held item. And for all those Unburden/Acrobatics lovers, the process of activating your Klutz on a foe ability counts as losing your held item, but the foe doesn't consider gaining a new held item to mean losing their old held item. Eject Button, Sticky Barb, Toxic Orb, Flame Orb, Assault Vest, Choice Items, do whatever you want. There are probably some unexpected plays on the table involving Trace, Receiver, Skill Swap, Entrainment, that sort of thing. Go nuts. The visual bug with the "This Pokemon's ability/item was activated!" window getting the wrong Pokemon/ability has been corrected.
