A Gnarly Noosa Bar. Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025.

One boat almost flipped while crossing the bar this morning and a few others got wet. It wasn't a big swell but it was certainly punchy, and long, which caught a few skippers by surprise. Apart from that it was a lovely start to the day with blue skies and a light 3 to 5 knot north westerly breeze blowing. BOM forecast is for north westerly winds 15 to 20 knots tending westerly in the morning. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre around midday. Swell: Easterly around 1 metre, tending north easterly 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing to around 1 metre during the afternoon.
