Anbernic RG35XXH in the big 2026? (StockOS vs Mod StockOS)

Starting off, you could go for the RG40XX H, which is around ₹1,000 more than the RG35XXH on Electronics India. In terms of performance, it’s basically the same as the RG35XXH, but you get a bigger screen. However, the battery capacity is also lower compared to the RG35XXH, meaning you’ll get less gameplay time. So, the main reason to get this one would simply be if you want a bigger screen. Next, we have the RG34XXSP and RG35XXSP. These are clamshell devices that fold up, giving you a more compact form factor and making them more portable. They also use the same CPU, but they’re mainly focused on lighter consoles that don’t require you to use analog sticks and triggers much, so your options are a bit more limited. That said, you do get the cool clamshell form factor. The RG34XXSP also has analog sticks, so if you want to play some heavier consoles like PSP or Dreamcast, you could go for the RG34XXSP, whereas if you mainly plan on playing lighter consoles, then the RG35XXSP would be the better fit. There’s also the RGCubeXX, which comes with a 1:1 aspect-ratio screen, making it more suitable for vertical games, which are common in arcades. It’s designed with certain games in mind that benefit from this aspect ratio, but you can still play all the same games that the other consoles can run, it really just comes down to whether you prefer this form factor and screen. And if you don’t care about analog sticks that much, you can also consider the TrimUI Brick. It has a solid build quality, a matte-black finish, and honestly looks really good. Performance-wise, it’s more or less in the same range, so this is mainly a choice for the design and build. However, if you do decide to go with the TrimUI Brick, keep in mind that the software is different, so you won’t be able to follow along with my video. I’d only recommend going for this one if you’re okay with doing a bit of extra research and you really, really, really want this device.
