I am a student of the Islamic Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jember (Universitas Jember). I will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing Muslim-friendly tourism destinations, with Lombok as an example of how tourism can combine natural beauty, local culture, and services for Muslim travelers. Furthermore, this presentation highlights how halal tourism can create employment opportunities, support local businesses, and encourage sustainable tourism. However, improving service quality, providing reliable information, and protecting local culture and the environment remain important for its long-term development.
