In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of an analog photoshoot at *"Rendez-Vous", a beautiful restaurant in Montreal, graciously made accessible through Ivy Studio.
I brought my Leica CL loaded with Portra 400, and in this video I share:
– My approach to shooting in an interior space on film
– How I handle exposure and light in a restaurant environment
– The experience of shooting with the Leica CL for a real editorial session
– My thoughts on the mood and constraints of analog photography on location
– The freshly developed photos, straight from the lab
There's something special about waiting for your film to come back, and even more so when the results surprise you.
If you're into film photography, analog editorial work, or behind-the-scenes creative shoots, this one is for you.
What do you think of shooting analog for editorial and interior photography?
