Dodds Diaries Episode 113 - Anglo Saxon Round Robin Revisited

The last of me 5 cheap winter outings which involve £1 tickets with Transpennine Express. In this case 3 of them with a £14 Scotrail ticket. This journey is a round robin similar to the one I did in April 2018 but bigger and longer. It goes Chester-le-Street - Newcastle - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Manchester - Chester-le-Street It is also my first ride on a class 385 from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street since the route was electrified and also my first ride on a TPE class 397 Nova 2 train. All the journey went smoothly. After this me biggest holiday will be next when I travel to the USA. Date filmed 29/2/24
