Janette Sadik-Khan | Change the Street Change the World

Janette Sadik-Khan discusses the transformative power of city streets and shows how reclaiming space for people to walk, bike and take public transportation can redefine cities. As technological innovation accelerates and autonomous mobility is poised to arrive on city streets, there is an increasingly urgent need to undo the damage of car-focused city planning and to make sure the 21st century is a human one. By setting the vision, acting quickly, using data and by giving the power of the streets to the people, city leaders, activists and ordinary citizens can change their street in real-time. And if you can change the street, you can change the world.
