Bakary Sako: Wolves Goals

All copyrights of what I share belong to the FA, Football League, BBC, ITV, Premier League, British Pathé etc. Bakary Sako played 118 games for Wolves for a return of 38 goals (all of which are included in this compilation) - an outstanding ratio of a goal every 3 games. At Wolves for 3 seasons from 2012/13 to 2014/15 he saw the club relegated to League One in his first season where he still scored a very impressive (for a winger) 10 goals for the season plus winning the fans Player of the Season award. He was the subject of transfer speculation during the summer of 2013 and despite the initial speculation surrounding his future and the breakdown of his proposed move to Nottingham Forest, Sako went on to have another productive season for Wolves, finishing as joint top-scorer with 13 goals as Wolves romped to the League One title create a new record points amount for the third tier, reaching 103 points. Again in 2014/15 Sako's goal output continued to improve where he scored 15 goals and again finishing as joint top-scorer; but Wolves narrowly missed the play-offs on goal difference where their tally of 78 points was the highest-achieved to date by a team that did not qualify for the play-offs since their introduction. Out of contract with the club, he voiced his desire to play in the Premier League, and on August 5th 2015, Sako joined Premier League side Crystal Palace on a three-year contract following his release from Wolves.
