Bhutan 2023 Day 7 | Gangtey Goempa | Hike at Phobjikha Valley

We travelled long, zigzag roads on Day 7 until we reached the district of Wangdue Phodrang. We explored Gangtey Goempa, which is the main seat of the Pema Lingpa tradition of the Nyingma school of Buddhism. We then hiked down Phobjikha valley and enjoyed breathtaking views! We also saw mules along the way. Our last stop was the Black-necked Crane Education Centre to see the 2 injured cranes from Tibet and learn more about them.
