Where the Roots Divide | Pantheistic Atmospheric Black Metal | Hiraeth

Hiraeth carved into rain, root and stone - a windswept black metal meditation on belonging, dissolution, and becoming part of the land. LYRICS ____________ Rain Caught in the blackthorn Slate Cold beneath the fern Oak Split by winter water Peat Dark beneath the heel The roots go down Through sheep-worn earth Stone Holding yesterday's rain Vale Where the hawk turns once Moss Clinging to the north face The stream runs brown Over iron and shale Bone White beneath the sedge Rain In the wool In the bark In my mouth Oak Under the lichen Under the nail Under the skin Stone The roots divide through me Water follows Where they open Vale No boundary in the grass No edge beneath the soil Rain Through root Through marrow Through tongue One Breath in the heather Breath in the crow Breath leaving me Stone Rain Oak
