In my 25 years as a broadcast journalist, I was lucky to have done sequels to my old documentaries. Part of my advocacy as a journalist is to try to uplift the lives of the communities and the people we interview. I believe that the greatest honor a journalist can ever receive is to find out that she was able to change the life of her interviewees, thru her stories.
