Kelsey Mitchell EXPOSED by Draymond Green After Disrespecting Caitlin Clark!

Kelsey Mitchell has sparked major controversy after appearing to distance herself from Caitlin Clark during her Indiana Fever exit interview, and Draymond Green’s previous comments are now drawing renewed attention. Mitchell said the Fever receive “a lot of flak” because of their connection to Clark, adding that it can be difficult to play for fans who don’t see her with the same “star eyes.” Her remarks quickly triggered backlash, with heated reactions online and Linda Cohn reminding viewers that Indiana fans regularly chant MVP for Mitchell during games. The numbers have added another layer to the debate. Before Clark joined Indiana, the Fever won just forty-nine games over six seasons and failed to reach the playoffs. Since her arrival, the team has recorded seventy-two wins and made three consecutive playoff appearances. Mitchell also enjoyed a record-setting scoring season during that stretch, with the record-breaking basket coming off an assist from Clark. In the past, Mitchell had even urged people to “better appreciate” Clark, recognizing that her presence helped open doors for others. Draymond Green had already addressed the issue of Clark’s influence on the WNBA. On his show, he emphasized that the attention surrounding Clark played a major role in the league’s growth, pointing to the introduction of private flights as one notable development. He also challenged players who avoid discussing Clark’s impact, arguing that people should be willing to stand by their public statements. Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith has offered his own perspective on Mitchell’s comments, while reports from Indianapolis have fueled speculation that Mitchell may have already played her final game with the Fever. So what was really behind Mitchell’s remarks? Was she simply expressing frustration with the fan reaction, or was her exit interview hinting at a bigger separation from Indiana?
