One Pregnant Stray Dog Was Missing — So My Mom Went Looking for Her in the Rain. It had been raining for days, and parts of the area behind this vacant house were flooded. Every day, these stray dogs wait for my mother around the same time because they know she will bring them food. But on this rainy day, she noticed that one familiar dog was missing — a pregnant stray who usually stayed near the vacant house. My mother kept calling for her and carefully made her way through the flooded area. After searching for a while, she finally found her sheltering from the rain. She gave her food, waited nearby while she ate, and then continued deeper into the alley to feed the other dogs that were still waiting.
