Learn how to improvise over a minor blues without having to learn loads of new scale shapes. 🎸 In this lesson, we'll work through a 12-bar blues in B minor, using familiar pentatonic and blues scale shapes to navigate the Bm7, Em7, G7 and F#7 chords. We'll look at some simple ways to make your solos follow the chord changes — from quick pentatonic switches to targeting the blues note and adding just one extra note to a shape you already know. The goal isn't to constantly think about theory or chase every chord tone. It's to understand a few simple ideas, get more from the shapes you already know, and ultimately just play. 🎸 Tabs, fretboard diagrams and backing tracks are available on my Patreon 👇   / 170844097   If you enjoyed the lesson, please consider subscribing — plenty more blues guitar lessons on the way!
