Only You - A Play by the Al-Huda School Drama Club

Despite the cold and rain, over 1,000 adults and several hundred youth and children came to the Bethesda Marriott to support Dar-us-Salaam’s community building and education mission. Our 25th Anniversary Annual Banquet “Only You” was a unique event for everyone; the centerpiece of the evening was a play performed by the Al-Huda School Drama Club (see it below!) During one segment of the event, we solicited your nasiha on where Dar-us-Salaam should focus during the next 25-years. Close to one thousand index cards full of your sincere advice to Dar-us-Salaam is waiting for us to read, digest, and in shaa Allaah put into action. Alhumdulillah, the total raised during our “Only You” campaign – before, during, and after the banquet -- is approximately $300,000. Allaahu Akbar ! Thank you to everyone who came, who donated, who volunteered, who made duaa’, and who said a good word. After Allaah, our support comes from only you.
