From Glasgow to Karachi: Changing Lives with Deaf Reach! 🤟✨

السلام علیکم! Welcome back to The Lahori Scot 👋 I recently attended the Deaf Reach UK Annual Dinner at the historic Trades Hall in Glasgow—a stunning 1790s landmark designed by Robert Adam. 🏛️ The evening began with Maghrib prayer, followed by a delicious dinner and the national anthem. We learned about the incredible work of Deaf Reach in Karachi and their founder, Richard Geary, who has dedicated his life to empowering deaf children through education and Pakistan Sign Language (PSL). The event concluded with a beautiful, soul-stirring Qawwali performance! 🎵✨ خامشی میں بھی امید کے رنگ بھرے جا سکتے ہیں۔ ❤️ 🤝 Support the cause & learn more: 🌐 Website: https://deiuk.org 🔔 Don't forget to Like, Share, and Subscribe to The Lahori Scot for more stories connecting Scotland & Pakistan! #TheLahoriScot #TradesHallGlasgow #DeafReach #RichardGeary #Karachi #EducationForAll #PakistanSignLanguage #DeafEducation #Qawwali #GlasgowEvents
