Gonzaga Prep vs. Ferris | High School Football | Full Extended TV Highlights 10/02/26

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups secured their first win of the season Friday night, pulling away from the Ferris Saxons in the second half for a 42-20 victory in the front end of a television doubleheader. Gonzaga Prep struck first near the end of the opening quarter when senior Quinn Mudd took a handoff straight up the middle and powered into the end zone for a rushing touchdown. Ferris answered in the closing minute of the first half to level the score. Saxons quarterback Sam Colton fired a pass over the middle into the red zone that was tipped in the air, but receiver Jackson Christiansen corralled the juggling catch for a touchdown to send the teams into the locker room tied at the break. The Bullpups reclaimed the momentum in the third quarter through the air. Quarterback Andrew Yarno executed a play-action fake and fired a strike over the middle to Cameron Barbieri, who went down to make the tough grab and put Gonzaga Prep back in front. Yarno then showcased his mobility to help put the game out of reach. The senior quarterback kept the ball on an option play and wove his way through the Ferris defense for a 46-yard rushing touchdown, making it a two-score game and opening the floodgates for the Bullpups' 22-point victory.
