I Found a Green Woodpecker Nest — But It Wasn't Where I Expected

After discovering a Green Woodpecker in a forest filled with potential nest holes, I’ve spent the last few visits trying to figure out where it was actually nesting. In this video, I finally get some answers. I head back into the forest to follow up on the clues I found earlier, and after all the confusion surrounding the nest holes, things finally start to make sense. I also get an incredible opportunity to photograph the birds up close before bringing my friend and woodpecker expert ‪@trondwestby‬ along for a day in the forest. What started as a simple search for a Green Woodpecker turned into a much bigger and more exciting project than I ever expected.
