780km. 29 days. One long walk across northern Spain. Buen Camino! follows two thirty-somethings walking the Camino Francés from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela — an intensely physical, personal account of taking on one of Europe’s great long-distance journeys. This isn’t a guide to the Camino or a portrait of its social scene. It’s one couple’s experience of walking it: early mornings, long days, aching knees, crowded albergues, spectacular landscapes, ancient towns, moments of humour and frustration, and the simple challenge of getting up each morning and continuing west. Along the way they cross the Pyrenees, endure temperatures approaching 40°C, walk through Navarra’s vineyards and the vast plains of the Meseta, encounter the history and legends of the Camino, climb into Galicia and discover just how different 780 kilometres feels when you have to cover every one of them on foot. Every pilgrim experiences the Camino differently. This was theirs. 🎬 Directed by Pascoe de Glanville 🥾 Camino Francés / French Way 📍 Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port → Santiago de Compostela 📏 780 km walked ⏱ 29 days 🎥 Full 57-minute documentary #CaminoDeSantiago #BuenCamino #CaminoFrances 0:00 Starting the journey 2:59 Early days of the Camino 5:26 Navigating through Pamplona 7:16 Crossing the Navara region 9:52 Physical challenges in Estella 12:37 Managing rest and recovery 17:16 Moving through historical towns 20:02 Approaching Burgos 22:37 Visiting the Burgos Cathedral 25:41 Crossing the plateau 29:19 The legacy of Knights Templar 32:19 Climbing toward the mountains 37:48 Symbolism at Cruz de Ferro 40:30 Hardship in the final stages 44:16 Reaching the final stretch 49:44 Approaching the destination 53:42 Reaching Santiago
