Confession Number Seventeen Was Mine | Southern Gothic Dark Gospel | LyricWake

Confession Number Seventeen Was Mine is an original Southern Gothic dark gospel story-song by LyricWake. Every year, people leave anonymous written confessions inside a small church. No names. No explanations. At midnight, the confessions are burned. Then one card falls to the floor. Number seventeen describes a secret the woman reading it has carried since she was seventeen years old. A dark story about guilt, silence, forgiveness and what happens when someone else has been carrying your confession for twenty years. Original lyrics and concept by LyricWake. #SouthernGothic #DarkGospel #DarkAmericana
