Nola Marlowe - Don't Set My Plate Tonight (Official Video Lyric)

🎵 "Don't Set My Plate Tonight" — a defiant electric blues anthem by Nola Marlowe. Thirty years of setting two plates. Thirty years of ironing his shirts and blessing his bread. Then one night, an earring in the sheets she washed — and the quietest kind of revolution a woman can have. No screaming, no breaking dishes. Just an apron folded on the counter and a note that says "God bless you." This is the song of a woman who finally fed herself. This one's for every woman who ever cooked a perfect meal for a man who didn't deserve the salt. Pull up a chair. Eat alone. It tastes like freedom. 🎙️ About Nola Marlowe [mesma bio] 🔔 Subscribe for new vintage soul & blues every week 👍 Like if this song found you tonight 💬 When did you stop cooking for someone who didn't deserve your table? ▶️ More from Nola Marlowe: #NolaMarlowe #ElectricBlues #FemaleBlues #VintageBlues #Independence #WomanBlues #SoulBlues #LyricVideo #DarkBlues #ChicagoBlues --- All music and lyrics original, performed in the spirit of classic blues.
