A Less-Familiar Handler Takes Over | 1-Year Sable GSD "Halbert" Works Beautifully Off Leash

🐾 Looking for a protection dog currently available? View our current dogs here: https://www.protectiondogsales.com/Do... One-year-old Halbert von Prufenpuden practices off-leash obedience with a handler he does not know particularly well. The session emphasizes signal fading, pace changes, fronts and finishes while Halbert stays animated and responsive. His body awareness helps the large young dog move his hind end cleanly instead of crowding or crashing into the handler. A family dog cannot be useful only for one trainer. Working with different authorized handlers helps Halbert understand the behaviors themselves and prepares him for a smoother transition into his future home. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏡 Home Raised.
