In the aftermath of devastating floods in Nepal’s Himalayan region, a dangerous tunnel rescue operation is underway to locate hundreds of workers still missing at hydropower projects. Filmmaker and drone pilot Manish Maharjan joined the Nepal Army’s rescue efforts, using thermal drones to search through massive layers of mud and debris. Authorities say around 900 workers remain unaccounted for, with nearly 500 feared trapped inside power plant tunnels.
