Day 5 Part 1 in Japan 🇯🇵 — the MT FUJI day trip! 🗻 The night before, a typhoon hit Tokyo 🌧️ — and the next morning it was bright and sunny. We started at Tokyo Station's red-brick Marunouchi building, took the bus west to Fuji (our guide told us about Fuji's last eruption in 1707 🌋), stopped in Fujiyoshida at the foot of the mountain, went to the famous Kawaguchiko Lawson where Fuji sits right above the shop 🏪, and then went to Lake Kawaguchi and Oishi Park for flowers, lake views and a Hokkaido soft-serve ice cream 🍦. Did Fuji finally show up?
