BROKEN BONES (BROKEN BONE BLUES)

I wrote this to heal the heart of someone that had been through the most horrendous of times... I moot their purity and the destruction wrought upon their body. My desire was to make them to feel heard, understood and cared for and it was one of my first solo songs to be finished. I recorded an old National Trojan resonator guitar and added double bass etc to make a country / folk / fingerpicking / Americana / blues style song - maybe, Old Crow MedicineShow or The Dirty South. Of course its nowhere close to those artists but its a charming song... will I ever play it again? Not sure. Recorded 2020 on the album; Songs of Death and Love. Video made; 2026.
