Hold me was released by Jevetta Steele in 1993 on her album 'Here It Is'. The track Prince's original music tracking, but also added Clare Fisher orchestral parts. This version takes Prince's demo vocals and overlays them on the released version, removing Jevetta Steele's lead vocals, but retaining the layers of backing vocals. The end result is just great. Vibes of Diamonds & Pearls, due to the instrumentation, it's obvious that it was too close musically to that track for Prince to release himself. But presented here is a version of the track that COULD have been released in 1993. And any Prince track with extra Clare Fisher is always a good thing!
